Dear Benny,

We have a man on the phone for you by the name of Chris Hanson and he would like to speak to you about our song ‘Into The Night’! Lol.. No but seriously hes on the phone waiting to speak to you.

I dont know how to look at this song any other way than to say it sounds really really pedo.  Now you can hear the song after the interview but those of you who know the song knows that it starts off in a way that in todays world could get you a visit from Mr Hanson and or the FBI but back when this song was made it was not only OK but it was a HIT!

The artist who wrote the song’s name is Benny Mardones and over the years he has decided to offer up his motives behind writting the song.  Take a listen!

Survey says, GUILTY AS HELL!!!

I don’t believe one word of this stupid story.  And why did it take this man 5 min to tell as story that could have been told on 30 seconds?

Everything about the video and the song is creepy but lets be real, who hasnt seen a fine 16 year old?  The problem is that it seems that people have no issue sexualizing kids and then they wonder why so much is happening to them.

If you listen to Beyonce’s music, it isnt targeted to women of her age, its targeted to teens and early 20s!  These girls have always been under fire from media and old men like Benny would use what ever power they had to influence young impressionable girls.  We tend to think that this is just a white issue but no it isn’t, its just white men seem to be way more open with how they feel about teen girls.  If you take a look at the adult movie titles one of the most purchased titles by white men is the so called teen fetish videos so what does that tell you?

Anyway, the song is a good song actually but when you listen to the lyrics do you buy Benny Mardones Explanation?

Can’t convict him on a suspicion. Were it so, we all would be behind bars.

It’s just a different time and place. If you think about the 80’s, 16 years old was the legal smoking age, marriage age, and so on. Back then and before, a 20 yearold dating or marrying a 16 yearold wasn’t unheard of or weird. Nowadays, I’d consider you a perv, but back then it wasn’t uncommon or taboo.
