Ok seriously, is there anyone out there that still doesnt get why I am not surprised when men murder women and kids? Is there still anyone out there on God green earth who can provide me any proof that some kids need 1million dollars to have a safe, happy and well taken care of childhood?
I have no idea seriously how this is even legal what is going on with the court system. This is legalized rape what these women are doing to these men. They miss payments, they go to jail with hardened criminals and while in jail they cant do not one dayum thing to earn an income.
Then when they are released they have 100000 black idiots running behind them with some slwhores hollarin, HE BEEN TA JAIL so at that point brothers cant even get jobs without this crap lingering over them. OH and PS Stevie, being behind on child support in Georgia is a FELONY!
The sad part is that women dont look at not only the damage it must do for a child to think of their dad as a dead beat but no one looks down on the women when they cant take care of their kids like they used to do.. Notice that no one arrest women for not being able to take care of their kids, they just give them assistance but the man, there is no excuse for him!
We men better stand up and unite because we are literally becoming nothing more than a check book. And this guy I guess at one point was making that kind of money but what about the average guy who ends up living in a studio apartment and eating sardines for dinner? Things need to change and its up to us to take our d*cks and go home!
At the end of the day fellas, this is Stevie J’s fault! He put himself in this position and now he is dealing with it but we have to see what is being done to us in the judicial system!
Love and Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Stevie J has been arrested for owing over $1 million dollars in child support.
You read that right — over ONE MILLION dollars.
Here’s what landed Stevie J behind bars. He and his live-in GF had a kid in ’97 and ’98. In ’99 Stevie was ordered to pay around $6,600 a month in child support, which eventually was raised to $8500K.
According to the criminal complaint, Stevie J stopped paying in 2001 — he’s never paid a cent since then. So now the tab is a whopping $1,107,412.
He was arrested in Georgia, and will most likely be out soon — but he still faces criminal charges in NY.

If she wants her kids to have his standard of life, then they should live with him. If they live with her then they should have the standard of life she provides for them.

He stopped paying 2001. If the woman was actually interested in receiving the money she could have taken action in 2001. But she waits until 2014 to push the issue? How long before we read that Stevie and her had some sort of argument shortly before he was arrested?
Furthermore, I am confident that no child requires $8,500 a month to live a happy, healthy life. There needs to be a cap on how much a man is expected to pay for child support. The justice system is biased against men to an absolutely disgusting degree.
Bottom line he should have paid, yes, but parenting is a partnership. Having your child’s father imprisoned for not paying his child support is foolish and hurts the child as well as the father. We keep telling men to step up and be fathers then turn around and have them tossed in jail. Put your ego on the back burner and work things out without getting the courts involved.

Woah, why was the MONTHLY amount raised from 6,600 to 8,500? The child support system is so loopsided it’s not even funny. Men are straight up powerless in all of this once they produce a child with any women inside of marriage or not.

Just like it takes two to create a child, it should also take two to support the child. Stevie J. is at fault for not doing his part in providing financial stability for his children. However… If Stevie J. hasn’t been paying child support since 2001, why is there suddenly a problem in 2014? If it meant that much to the mother, she would have cracked down a long time ago. Makes you wonder… Is she running low on cash suddenly and is now turning to Stevie J. for money in the form of unpaid child support? It seems odd to me that the baby daddy is supposed to send his paycheck to the baby momma to do with whatever she pleases when the baby daddy has about oh… 15 minutes of input into the child creation decision.
