Guys, I have to say this for real that depression is a beast!

Depression is something that can strike anyone at anytime and it can snuff out even the brightest star!  Actor Robin Williams ended up being no different!

No matter how happy people seem in public we never know what demons they may be suffering from

The world has lost a true treasure and a talent but what this needs to do is spark more conversation about depression!

Myself and my girl from Chicago Amber are going to head up a group dedicated to sharing our stories and helping each other.  We are going to have a channel on youtube called Sotonation Support Group where people just like you and me will share their stories of dating, jobs, lossof loved ones everything in order to let other people know that they are not alone!   Please subscribe here and make sure you email any videos or stories that you would like to share to [email protected]

What we need to do is try to be there for each other because it is lonely in this world especially when you suffer from deep depression, I know!

So what was your favorite Robin Williams Movie?

Beloved actor Robin Williams was found dead on Monday, police reported.

He was 63.

The apparent cause of death was suicide, authorities said. According to his publicist,Williams had been battling severe depression.

Williams was best known for his starring roles in classic comedies like Mrs. Doubtfire and Jumanji. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Dr. Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting. He rose to fame while playing Mork the alien in the TV show Mork & Mindy, a Happy Days spinoff.

Most recently, Williams had starred in the new CBS sitcom ‘The Crazy Ones.’ It was cancelled after just one season.

Susan Schneider, the actor’s wife, released the following statement to the New York Times’ Dave Itzkoff:

“This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one if its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin’s family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin’s death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”

sometimes it just feels like death is the only way out, but i urge
anybody who is feeling that way to seek out help, there are people that
can and will help you. Its does not make you weak or inferior to anybody
else, we all have our problems, its how we come out the other side that
counts. That goes for you too tommy, stay strong people.

He brought so many laughs throughout my childhood. My favorite movies were Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Aladdin, Bicentennial Man, Jumanji, Flubber, and Fern Gully. I could watch those movies over and over and never get bored. Even though the Birdcage was a movie for adults, I still watched it as a kid. LOL.

Speechless so many laughs and good times enjoying his work. Truly, one of my favorite actors. hhl There are some days I don’t care if I live or die and days I cant eat because the stomach pain eases it. But we have to live through it. The negative thoughts aren’t reality. They are our test because there’s no one outside of us that can fuck with us so god puts our biggest baddest enemy inside. Ee win automatically by live a full and productive life.

Rip Robin Williams. He is one of my favorite actors. He will be deeply missed. I know how it is being depressed. I’ve been depressed most of my life. I’ve been bullied, teased, talked about etc just because I was quiet and overweight. I always think about my child and my fiance who has been very loving and supportive throughout my life. My own family members criticized and treated me like I wasn’t human. I got so depressed that I end up on 2 different medications for a year. I’m better now but every now and then I sit silently and start crying. We need to be there for each other instead of putting each other down.

I wrote a lot of this on my FB page, I thought I’d share here: #‎RIP‬
Robin Williams! You will be missed! Thank you all of the years of
laughter and for making us smile. On a serious note: depression (a very
personal issue for me), suicide, mental health, etc. are very serious
issues. Please, don’t ignore the signs. Reach out to those in need. Too
many people are leaving this world thinking no one cared for them or
feeling as if they had no purpose in life, some feel like they should
have been born in another era. It can be a problem for anyone, and many
    factors are involved.

Robin had millions of $$ and was able to
live out a lot of his dreams and goals, but so many don’t even make it
past the age of 16 (yes, it’s that serious). You never know what goes on
behind closed doors just because someone has a big smile on their face.
They may be crying too – and crying out for help on the inside. Such a
tragedy. Also, I have always noticed a trend with creative and artsy
people having issues with depression. As a writer, I cannot emphasize
how true this seems to be. Chronic stress is also a factor. A part of my
    childhood left today.

Also, Tommy I know it’s hard, but try and
keep your head up. You know we love you & think about you! I go
    through the same thing.

I read a few studies and articles on creative people and depression, but I’ve always had that thought. Tragedies like this just seems to confirm it all. What kind of artwork do you do?

Tommy, I just posted this on YouTube in your Robin Williams video:

I’ve been concerned about Tommy for a while. It seems to me that what he does will lead to depression, that is, he is on a personal and crusade to try to right a wrong, but the odds are against him being successful, at least in his lifetime. He is trying to be a fixer, a healer of a human condition.

In addition to that, according to what he just said, he seems to suffer from clinical depression. I hope he realizes that this is a dangerous combination.

Why is it always the great ones that die. Robin Williams was my favorite actor of all time. I used to watch Mork and Mindy everynight when it showed in Nick at Night. Such a tragedy. Such a talented man will be missed very much.

So society can decide when to kill you, but it is always bad when you decide yourself?

Thanks for all the laughs Robin. See you next time…

Man, I can’t believe this shit. Robin Williams was the man. I had no idea he was going thru that shit. My heart goes out to him and his family. I get depressed too but never to this extreme. I guess that’s why I sink into my artwork. I keep myself upbeat. I have lost some friends to depression. This shit is real and needs to be addressed more. Great video Tommy!

Hey Tommy, if no one has said it yet, I will. To some of us, maybe more then you’ll ever know, watch you on these channels, as part of our daily healing. It’s like a routine, If that routine is disrupted, I personally start wondering “what is wrong” and get sad and even cry when you go 24 hours without making a video. I know it sounds cheesy. but it’s not to someone who searches for any hope to just hang in there long enough to be able to eat and heal and become strong enough to simply smile and enjoy a meal without feeling as if you’re about to puke up your soul. Tommy, I don’t have that Dad in my life that you speak of. Nor do I have that brother or uncle to turn to. You are it for me and to many others that you simply are unaware of. You are loved so much and so important in so many of our lives, beginning with your babygirl. The # 1 love in your life Tommy, is your kid. invest your love in her. everything else will fall in it’s place in time.

The fact that it was suicide is what is most painful. He didn’t find ONE reason to keep on living and that is so difficult to accept. This man brought so much laughter, happiness and entertainment, to so many people and yet no one was able to save him from his illness. Depression is dangerous because it’s you fighting against your thoughts and emotions… Robin Williams, and his work, was and is a huge part of my life. His loss has hit me deeply. My top 3 favorite Robin Williams films are 1. What Dreams May Come 2. Aladdin and 3. One Hour Photo… all of which show just how versatile and truly talented he was. Thank you for creating that support channel… I believe you will be able to help many that suffer from this same awful illness….it’s always good to be able to have someone or some place to turn to…
