Just when you thought that there could be no more straight up shooting of black men at least in the same city as that had just happened and within 2 weeks of said event you get proven wrong as hell! The cops of St. Louis decided to hell with diplomacy because the black peoples diplomatic immunity card has just been revoked!
Kajieme Powell was the name of the young brother who had his life snuffed out in front of a few witnesses who have now grown to the millions thanks to the aid of Social Media!
The problem is that some will see this is simply suicide by cop as the man kept asking the cops to shoot him but the real question needs to be, why do the cops even carry mace, pepper spray and rubber bullets at times? It seems as if they are not trying to use either of them, only the gun.
These cops shot 6 bullets a piece and all of this for a man with a knife. They came up on the guy with guns drawn and within seconds he was dead on a public street!
What made me pissed was how the cops spoke to the citizens after shooting someone down in the streets. How they forced them to go away so far that they couldnt get any clear video of the man or the cops and this is just the beginning of whats to come guys!
Why is it that Jared Loughner (Tucson shooter) and James Egan Holmes (theater shooter) were not shot and Winona Ryder gets probation for shoplifting? No wonder I don’t see a lot of patriotic Americans who are people of color and you wonder why you don’t even see patriotism these days and I understand why. And the cops wonder why people still say “F*** the police”.
Lastly, why was his friend laughing joking and recording it but after the man was shot oh now you have an issue with the police? Instead of trying to get youtube views, maybe you could have had a talk with the young man and tried to get him to think about what he was doing?
What I would like us to do is not keep being in the wrong when things go wrong because they are going to find a way to excuse the cops for this!
On Tuesday, two officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police shot and killed 25-year-old Kajieme Powell, less than four miles from where police shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown not quite two weeks ago. Powell was suspected of shoplifting. On Wednesday, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department released video—cell phone footage recorded by an eyewitness—of the fatal encounter. Be warned, the footage is graphic.
The video shows that police told Powell to remove his hand from his pocket, which he did. Police said Powell held a knife in his hand, though it is unclear from the video if Powell actually brandished the knife at the officers. The owner of the convenience store from which Powell allegedly shoplifted told police he had a weapon, a claim corroborated by the owner of a nearby barber shop who called 911 about Powell, according to 911 calls obtained by St. Louis Public Radio.
Powell approached them, shouting, “Shoot me! Shoot me, already!” As Powell continued to approach them, the officers shot and killed him.
Fewer than 20 seconds elapsed from the time police arrived on the scene to the time they shot Powell. The two officers fired 12 shots at Powell, according to police chief Sam Dotson.
Powell allegedly took two energy drinks and donuts from a convenience store, the owner of the store told a 911 dispatcher.
Powell’s death marks the second time in less than two weeks that police in the St. Louis metropolitan area have shot and killed a young black man suspected of a minor crime.
Protestors marched for the tenth night in a row Tuesday evening in response to the shooting of Michael Brown, who was gunned down by police officer Darren Wilson of the Ferguson police department. Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old black man, was killed following an altercation after Wilson approached him for jaywalking, police said.
Some eyewitnesses described Tuesday night as the calmest yet in Ferguson since Brown was shot on August 9.
Earlier, supporters of Dareen Wilson arrived in Ferguson to demonstrate, drawing jeers from Brown supporters. Wilson’s supporters were escorted away by police before violence erupted.

I have noticed on other websites, comments depicting that he deserved it. They say the cops had no other choice. Well I say bollocks. The total and complete lack of self control is very much apparent in law enforcement today. They walk around and use their guns, as easily as you say thank you after a kind gesture. They shoot first and then ask questions later. I find it interesting that they handcuff after shooting him 12 times, but I presume this is protocol and they feel “unsafe.” More importantly, the misguided people continue making this Black vs White, when the true enemy involves the government and the police state. For the life of me, they condone the usage of shooting and not using tasers, because tasers are not “100%,” according to the police department. I then have one question: when these psychopathic Caucasian males go on shooting rampages, how is there a calmer sense of recovering him, versus the more harsh reaction with Blacks? I am not stating that they all survive, but when they die, from what I understand, the do so by self inflicted wounds. However, they usually exit the rampage without a scratch. Why do you even have a bloody taser?
Tommy I agree with most things you say but on this one that was a good shoot . The man had a knife you have to eliminate the threat. The reason you keep your gun trained on the subject until he is cuffed and make sure he is no longer a threat. What happened to the days when pointing a gun at someone meant something? Is a man with mental issues armed with a knife more or less of a threat?…depends on who you ask. A knife is a deadly weapon and should be respected as such. There are many accounts of people under the influence of drugs who were tased multiple times and kept going. If I ordered someone to drop a knife at gunpoint and they kept advancing, I dont think I would gamble that a taser would stop them.

Im mean really some of the comments on here make me sick. In Colorado a white man goes and kills 12 people with a rifle in a movie theater. He leaves safely in police custody. He was said to be mental. This incident with the young black man is similar because he’s obviously mental. Its amazing how cops can remove a rifle out of these happy serial killers hands, but cant with a tiny dull knife.
That whole thing was staged, just like Sandy Hook and the Boston Bombings… Our government and media are completely lying to us about those events.
Tamara…according to news reports and police, etc…did the mental man from Colorado resist arrest, or did he calmly get arrested outside of the movie theater? I can’t defend this one Tommy. He stole the product waited for the police to come then told them to shoot him. He went at them with a knife. Police are allowed to shoot someone with a knife in their hand. That was a just shooting.

To this day, I’m 26, and I’m terrified of the police now. I’ve been stopped on a few occasions, and I know the routine… No matter what, I don’t move a muscle, I don’t go to open the door, I say “yes sir no sir”, I don’t reach for SHIT, matter fact my license and registration is already nearby in a cup holder and ready for them as soon as they walk up lol…. That man was either slow or mentally ill. You can tell from the pacing. I have been around several mentally ill people and mentally retarded people. One young man they put in a group home because, he was both and he raised all sorts of hell. I wondered why they let him stay. Then one day I learned that they would not kick him out because they were certain someone would kill him. He had been arrested many times but, not charged because of the mental retardation. If he had gone to prison I know he would have been killed by know. Some people are not pretending to be “crazy,” they really are that mentally ill or that slow. Not every criminal can control themselves. You knew what you were doing.

That’s a really good point, and actually my ex was on a lot of medication for bipolar and other shit. I stayed with her for a long time because she has a young daughter, and you hate to see mentally crazy people taking care of kids, there’s so much of that going on, but shit I got tired of it. Crazy people tend to push you to the point where you want to put a hole in them. I do feel sorry for the brother with the knife though, they are too damn quick to shoot in Missouri! Now I was recently stopped here in Lubbock Texas and the police officer had one of those pov cameras on him, he said they’re all required to wear them now, is this not happening in other parts of the country? A man caught someone molesting his little girl and killed him. They still looked into filing charges. They knew the molestation was true but, still wanted a grand jury to decide if he should be tried. They should have given him a man of the year award and burned the molester’s body in the street.

But,If you notice on the tape the police rode up with their doors open and guns drawn. Began shooting without asking a question, then I counted 10 shots. That Cop STARTED SHOOTING AND THEN JUST EMPTIED HIS GUN into that young man who only needed some kind of medical,or psychiatric help. In this incident no police were ever in danger ,never threatened in any way. Yet this how they behave.
