CONWAY, S.C. (WPDE) — A 19-year-old has been charged Thursday in the deadly shooting of a 20-year-old on Ida Lane near Conway.

Jerome Tyler Evans, of Conway, is charged with murder in connection with the case, police said. The truth of the matter is, are we really surprised that this man did some ducked up isht? I mean this man has the type of face that befits villainy!

The shooting happened Tuesday around 1 a.m., HCPD reported on Twitter.

An Horry County police officer responded to a possible home invasion, according to an incident report from HCPD.

“Once on scene, officers went into a bedroom in the residence. The victim had an apparent gunshot wound to his chest,” the report said.

Officials added they “did not observe any movement from the victim, and EMS found no pulse on the victim.

“Complainant told officers that she was in the living room of the residence, when she heard gunshots and then she found the victim lying on the bedroom floor. She said some people were outside the house during the incident,” according to the report.

The Horry County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Tybius Owens, 20.

Patrol officers, detectives, CSI, and K-9 units were called to the scene to assist, officials added.
