DETROIT (WJBK) – Shocking video has led to the arrest of a Detroit woman for violent child abuse on Thursday. Warning: The video is graphic, we caution viewer discretion.

TNNRaw obtained footage from a surveillance camera showing a woman kick a toddler to the ground.

As seen in the video, once child falls the woman then kicks the little boy again — so hard he falls out of his shoes. She then picks him up and shakes him and smacks him in the face.

She was taken into custody after officers were shown the video.

Police is not yet identifying the woman until she has been formally charged.

The arrest was made on Minden in Detroit around 5:25 p.m. Thursday.
