Footage believed to have been filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, shows a woman holding a tot above her head as she dashes from her car to a shop
THIS is the moment a woman was filmed apparently using her child as an umbrella as she runs for shelter from the rain.
The woman, dressed in shorts and a T-shirt was caught on camera dashing from her car to a shop by a shocked onlooker.
In the clip, the woman hoists the tot above her head in what looks to be a move to protect her hair and face from the downpour.
She is seen dashing towards the store before seemingly changing her mind and heading back to her car.
And the outrageous clip has sparked outrage online, with furious social media users blasting the woman.
One person tweeted: “Am I tripping or is this woman really using her whole child as an umbrella to protect herself from the rain? I’m sick!!”
Another wrote: “But to care more about your hair than ya own kid..”
And a third said: “The father could win a custody battle with Just this video and put her on child support that’s what I would do if that was my baby.”
