Greys Anatomy Star Jesse Williams and the man who caused quite a stir after getting up at the BET Awards and telling the white world to stop taking black people for granted is now making headlines for leaving one of those fantastic black women he spoke about during his idiot speech!

Jesse Williams and his wife Aryn Drake-Lee are pulling the plug on their five-year marriage.The “Grey’s Anatomy” star split from Drake-Lee last week, sources told TMZ.It’s not clear who filed for divorce first, but the outlet reported that the breakup is amicable.According to the Jasmine Brand, Williams and Drake-Lee, a real-estate broker, have been separated for quite some time and were hoping to keep the divorce under the radar. They wed in September 2012 after dating for five years.

The pair is parents to two children, son Maceo and daughter Sadie.

Williams, who plays Dr. Jackson Avery on the ABC drama, gushed about his wife recently while accepting the humanitarian honor at the BET Awards in July.

After thanking his parents for teaching him to “focus on comprehension over career” and educating him on things “schools were afraid to teach,” the activist gave a shout-out to Drake-Lee for changing his life.
