White Coach Punched In The Face By Black Family Is Being Called Racist For Fighting Back! (Video)

The school’s surveillance video shows the player coming from behind the coach and then grabbing him.

“Was this a racist incident?” WISN 12 News reporter Terry Sater asked the coach of the player he said got punched.

“Racist? Boy, it didn’t appear to be racial until the end,” Daryl Bates said.

He said the other coach should have been arrested.

“If that was a Black coach who hit a blond-haired, blue-eyed 15-year-old basketball girl in the mouth. That coach is not leaving that gym. Not in handcuffs,” Bates said.

Germantown police said there’s no racism involved. No one was arrested or cited because the player, and her family, left the gym before police arrived.

Coaches told WISN 12 News it all started after the player’s brother was ejected from the gym for heckling the referees. On his way out, words were exchanged with the other team’s coaches.

“So is it racial? It’s hard to say it wasn’t, because again, if that’s a white kid in the stands barking at a ref. Does the coach react the same way? I don’t know,” Bates said.

The player’s mother approached the bench and had words with the coaches. Then, her son and another man punched one of the coaches, and he claims broke his eye-socket.

Then it turned into a melee. The player goes after the injured coach, the coach swings and ends up on the ground being punched repeatedly.

Police said the two coaches from Kaukauna suffered injuries that required medical treatment.

So far, no charges have been filed against roughly 10 people involved in the fight.
