So Who’s Making Black Women Look Bad?

By: Tommy “Tj” Sotomayor

Snapshot 4 (10-12-2014 6-41 AM)

Well if you listen to the people who go off on me its guys like me who make black women look bad because we discuss things like this but I am confused, when you see headlines like the one here and then you see it for yourself, can it be denied?

Watch the video below and then tell me how you feel about the state of the modern day black woman?

So how can you try and pretend that this is not a big deal?  With all of the problems especially economically facing black people, why are black women so in love with something as simple as hair?

Should no one think abou thow this looks for these women who had to have white men keep them away from their weave?  Remember, the only non blacks that you saw in this video where the people owning the store and guarding the store and you saw not one non black woman standing for hours to get some non black hair!  You will also never see a store where non black women are trying to steal non black hair or waiting hours to get it!  That should tell you something!!!

If black men were doing something like this over white mens hair they would be called coons!

(CNN) — Police used pepper spray on shoppers after a scene broke out at a beauty supply store on Friday.

The incident was reported at Beauty Exchange on Pine Hills Circle.

As part of the store’s grand opening, it was giving away free hair extensions valued between $55 and $100.Shoppers started lining up Friday morning and by 8:30 a.m. there were several dozens of people in line. Pushing and shoving occurred and a pregnant woman was pushed down.

In surveillance video, Orlando police is spotted trying to get the crowd to back up and when they wouldn’t back up, at least two officers started to use pepper spray on the crowd.

Several shoppers tell Local 6 they believe the police overreacted. The Department defended the officer’s actions.

“The officers attempted to gain control of the crowd and restore order however they were unsuccessful, therefore they sprayed over the heads of the crowd to gain control,” a department spokesperson said in an email to Local 6.

The video shows one officer spraying at eye level.

There were no injuries.

Black women, if you don’t feel like true idoits at this point, nothing will embarrass you. You’ve become a walking joke. The world laughs at you. How can anyone take you mongrels seriously?

Black men you lost your freedom, country and natural resources and still live under the white mans thumb and cant protect the things that were your responsibility to protect. You are the real joke every man in every other country still is the leader in that country but you we are laughed at for petty reason but when men all around the world laugh at someone they laugh at you hard.

Funny you should say that. Maybe you are right but all these other countries where their men are leaders do not have the same problem we have here. You know why? Their women are the women. They do not pretend to be the men. They do not take the place of the men. They keep their position in the house and look up to the man. Thus the men have the have the support and every other thing they need to be the men and lead.
        THAT IS A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

Bull shit to make yourself feel better…If we became something else hence we had no other choice view the willie lynche writings; what was the excuse when we came from Africa and after we got here there were no slave women trying to be men then…You suck as leaders period and always have and you will never be anything until you stop looking for somebody to blame take responsibility and make the changes. How can you be leading properly and claim women are out of place and take your place if you know what you’re doing in the first place no other KING or definently not a QUEEN trying to be a KING can take your throne. STOP with the bull shit you dont suck at life because of black women you suck at life because you suck. Who wants extra responsibility why would we bite off more than what we can chew if you weren’t already falling short to begin with. And P.S white people play this TOMMY Sotomayer shit up because it keeps us divided as willie lynche said this is the only way to keep control but even they know we have to play both roles because you aren’t shit.

riiiiiight…..keep running from accountability and you will keep feeling like the finger is pointed at you, it is going to take both halves acknowledging their part to work toward a common goal, but no maybe you just want black men to be white men and rape and kill their way to domination? whatever works right

I would like both halves to come together not to talk about what the other has done or what the other is doing..But come together acknowledging their shortcomings improving their own shortcomings on their own and then collectively build strong, productive communities. But if you look at the 1ST thread which conjured these replies pointing the finger is what we do best weaves and attitudes can take a back seat. I will eat that now what? But that doesn’t mean that I wont defend myself or handle my business if I need to.

I understand you, being a woman. But black men DO LEAD. A BLACK MAN IS LEADING OUR COUNTRY FOR not just 4, but 8 years!! Darling woman, do you see how many black men are becoming supervisors, managers, docs, white collar and blue collar success’s (murdered that spelling, so?) and are dominating music way back from the spinners, earth wind and fire, kanye, whatever. Black women entertainers are no longer robbed by white managers. I’ve worked for plenty of black women leads oe managers, and now having a broken leg, have black/white nurses dry my tears and help me walk again. The world is changing darling. I see it. Angry black people just like white trash blame the whole world. The rest of us enjoy the change.

      frannycat 18 October, 2014, 11:57

Don’t forget EVER that a black man has ran this country not 4 but eight,!!!!!!!!, fuckng 8 years. Did better than Bush at least! I call bullshit that black people who have ambition are weak. Anyone with ambition makes it!!! My black hubby is a supervisor, good $$$, so well liked. My favorite nurse is black, she does very well on money, my other fave is German. So you go where YOU WANT TO GO!

      • Maria
        Maria 23 October, 2014, 14:31

Yes. you go where you want to go. If you look at the stats black women are actually going farther. Yet, we are constantly being attacked and please understand that Barack Obama is just one man; the majority of black men and the world are less than comparable to him. I see your point as well; and we need black men to defend black women and black women to defend black men when they are being trampled on; as I did in my statement and as I am doing right now. But, DARLING please wake up and realize these bitches aren’t defending you (us) at a high enough rate for women to come out of the wood work and defend black men the way many of you do when they are disrespected the same way they disrespect us and allow us to be disrespected. They spend so much time talking about black womens attitude, looks, and all the other petty critiques; when it’s more of us in America vastly and by percentage they still can’t outnumber us when it comes to black people in American who are moderately successful. They need to stop talking about the black woman and talk about how to learn to be decent, productive men. Because in the MAJORITY all i see is trash.

LOL Just laughing at Tommy talking about this.. I love him to death. He just does a good job of making it sound funny. Even though this is a pretty dangerous time to being kids and babies into. So yeah that was pretty stupid. Honestly i would have turned my white ass around and took my kids to a damn park or something… and just forgot about getting a free wig. Something that i would probably just use for Halloween anyway.

I recently went on a so called black dating site and sadly my inbox is filled with 200 lb grandmothers with full wigs on! I’m 56 in great shape, but black women in my age group are done. You know who else is on the site? White women….they are 99% slim and tone. They post pictures from the gym, not the club. Sure they look older in the face, but they refuse to be fat…why can’t sistah’s have that kind of resolve?

I would do a quick head count and see whether the first 50 was filled and then just go home or do some other errands. What, do I really think I’m going to bulldoze everyone and get the shit beat out of me? Thats competely fucking retarded. I have extensions I play with on holidays or special weekends but my hair is now longer than the extentions so I can’t and don’t claim to know how bw feel, but I hate this ghetto behaviour. Take your kids and run when police are spraying pepper, are you insane or what?
