Tekashi 69’s Homeless Dad Dragged Online After He Demands His Son Support Him

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s estranged father is homeless and upset that the rapper hasn’t helped him out financially.

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s estranged father has been heavily criticized online after begging his superstar son for financial aid.

Daniel Hernandez, who has the same birth name as his son, is currently homeless.

In a video obtained by Page Six on Friday, the senior Hernandez claims that he has been living in a homeless shelter for two years.

“Because I don’t have an apartment, he doesn’t know that I’m in the shelter,” the 60-year-old said. “Now he’s going to know I’ve been here for, what, two years already?”

Hernandez claimed that his son, who he abandoned for over a decade, hasn’t offered him any money.

“You think he’d come hook me up with something,” he said. “He’s been giving money to other people. … He gives money to everybody. ‘Here, here, here.’”

Hernandez previously made headlines when he showed up at the “TROLLZ” rapper’s sentencing in December 2019.

Tekashi pleaded guilty to several crimes related to his involvement with the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods gang. While in court, Hernandez asked multiple times to speak about his son but was denied.

“It’s way too late to show and speak on his behalf. You squandered that right many years ago,” the judge said at the sentencing.

Tekashi was in disbelief after seeing his dad in court.

“I took one glance — I see my biological father. I haven’t seen him since the third grade,” Tekashi, now 25, said, addressing the court before being sentenced. “I don’t even know if this is a f–kin’ joke, everything I go through.”

Tekashi did not meet his dad until he was 9.

An attorney for the rapper previously said that Tekashi’s mother, Natividad Perez-Hernandez, had kicked Hernandez out of their house after she allegedly caught him shooting up heroin in the bathroom.

Fans of 69 were outraged after his father expected money from him – despite not financially supporting his son growing up.

“His dad is a grown man. He can figure out his own situation. How do you not see your own child nor have a relationship with him for over a decade yet expect a handout from him? The Audacity,” one fan wrote online.

“He hasn’t seen you since he was in third grade yet you feel entitled to his money… some parents are something else,” a second added.

“Why would he? You weren’t in his life for YEAAAAAARS. Now that he’s up you want some?” a third commented.

“Waiiiittttt so you want your son to take care of you? The same son you didn’t take care of? Boy byyyyeeeee!” a fourth chimed in.
