Just like the majority of black women, this woman only looks for opportunities to steal, use or beg people to get what she wants, not even what she needs.

People would understand if black women were stealing things they needed but they stealing stupid crap just because its what they are programmed to do.

Employees of a salon in Pittsburgh’s South Side are still trying to recover money and valuable items they said were stolen by an Instacart “shopper” after the person delivered the salon owner’s order.

They say it happened in the middle of the afternoon on Wednesday, Dec. 8, while their backs were turned for a few moments.

Surveillance video from inside of “Blinc Bronze Beauty” shows a female Instacart employee entering the salon. A purse and cash were sitting behind the salon counter.

After the Instacart employee dropped off the groceries, the employee said she took the purse and money. The camera by the door shows the employee rushing out with the items in hand.

Within an hour of leaving the shop, the owners said the Instacart “shopper” spent thousands of dollars on the business’ debit card. The person also had access to the business’ checkbook, forcing Blinc Bronze Beauty to close its account.

“At this point, you know that your employee is a criminal, has robbed us. There’s clear video surveillance of your employee robbing us. There’s evidence of fraud of $5,000 in charges to our business bank account,” Becker said.

Becker said the locks to the businesses had to be changed. One of the owner’s cars and home keys were also stolen inside the purse.

Instacart responded to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 with the following statement:

“We take the safety of the entire Instacart community very seriously and respond promptly to all law enforcement investigations,” a company spokesperson said. “We’ve removed the shopper from our platform, and we’ve been in contact with local law enforcement on this matter and are continuing to offer assistance as they investigate this incident.”

However, Public Information Officer for Pittsburgh Public Safety said Wednesday, Dec. 16, police are still waiting to hear back from Instacart on the driver’s information.

“I would hope that a business as large as Instacart would just want to do the right thing, you know what I mean? I hope they would want to help,” Becker said.

Becker said she still has many questions for Instacart.

“Did they do a proper background check on her or any of their employees, as far as making sure that they aren’t employing criminals, and sending criminals into people’s homes and people’s businesses delivering groceries?” Becker asked.

In an email to one of the shop owners, Becker said Instacart offered a settlement to cover the cost of the stolen purse and cash taken, but Becker said it would not come close to covering the cost of everything that had to be replaced. Becker said the email from Instacart also said that if the Blinc Bronze Beauty owners do not want to proceed, Instacart will consider the claim closed.
