Reference the Daunte Wright shooting. The officer is a victim of a substandard policy which was followed by substandard training. 

Reference the Force Continuum – “A use of force continuum is a standard that provides law enforcement officers and civilians with guidelines as to how much force may be used against a resisting subject in a given situation.

In some ways, it is similar to the U.S. Military’s Escalation of Force”. – The correct policy and training of that officer should have lead to Mr. Wright being shot not once but several times by that officer and multiple other officers.

When Mr. Wright resisted arrest and return to the vehicle with the intent of evading arrest by use of that vehicle, which now becomes a weapon. Mr. Wright was wrong and his death was “wright”. The policy and training to use non lethal force in this situation is wrong.

Mr. Wright’s family and the leach lawyers will become the next thug lottery winners.

Because of shit show policies, training and poor public communication and the legislative process.
