Naire’ McCormick, an NYPD school safety agent since 2004, was shot to death by her boyfriend in her Clinton Hill apartment, according to police.

A Brooklyn man celebrating his birthday shot his girlfriend, an NYPD school safety agent, to death inside her apartment, then turned the gun on himself and committed suicide, police said Monday.

Police made the grisly discovery when they responded to a 911 call that somebody was being harassed about 11:20 p.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived to the building on Clermont Ave. near Flushing Ave. in Clinton Hill they found 47-year-old Jancy Dempster and his girlfriend dead, both shot in the head, inside her bedroom.

Friends identified the dead woman as Naire’ McCormick, 44, an NYPD school safety agent since 2004 who was currently assigned to the First Precinct in Lower Manhattan. According to social media posts, McCormick was the 2018 face of Kurvacious, a plus-size model competition.

“She was a loving, outgoing soul (whose) life was taken too soon,” said Shateama Vasquez, a longtime friend of McCormick’s. “She had a heart of gold. . . . Nobody have nothing bad to say about her. Her personality is what drew you to her.”

Another neighbor, Yvonne Jordan, 33, who lived across from McCormick, said she often heard the couple fight, and described Dempster as “a jealous guy.”

“It hurts my heart. I really can’t believe this happened because I saw it with my own eyes,” she said of the couple’s volatile relationship. “They would go in their room and fight.”

“I kept saying [to myself] he’s gonna hurt her, he’s gonna hurt her,’” Jordan said, adding she felt helpless because McCormick was a “strong woman and she stood her ground.”

Jordan said McCormick kicked out Dempster last April, but he began visiting again in July. “When he left the last time, she should have let him stay gone,” she said.

“She loved him, what are you gonna do?” she said.

Sources said Dempster had come over to celebrate his birthday with her and ended up in a booze-fueled rage.

He had four prior arrests on charges including robbery and weapon possession, sources said.

Police recovered a gun from the blood-stained apartment.
