Now lets get to the story: An Ohio mom has been charged in the rape and murder of her 13 month old child along with helping her live in crack head looking boyfriend do this despicable crime while getting away with it until being captured weeks later!

Kelsie Blankenship is now sitting in jail awaiting trial for what to most would be considered an unspeakable crime yet you keep seeing women, single mothers, in the midst of all this this insanity!
I just hope that many of these people stop believing that women are better people and more nurturing parents than men. That we have to worry more about men and what they may be doing harmful to children but never look at women as possible offenders would stop ASAP!

JEFFERSON, OHIO- The mother of a 13-month-old girl who was raped and murdered last year, is now officially charged in connection to her daughter’s death.
Kelsie Blankenship, 23, entered a plea of not guilty, today, during her formal arraignment at the Ashtabula County Courthouse.
Blankenship openly wept, as she was indicted on a total of seven charges, including two counts of murder.
Ohio police charge her with the death of her 13-month-old daughter Serenity.
The child’s badly beaten body was found inside of Blankenship’s home in Conneaut, Ohio, last October.
Investigators says the child died of blunt force trauma to her head and body.
Blankenship’s live-in boyfriend Joshua Gurto, 37, has also been charged with aggravated murder and rape, in connection to Serenity’s death.
Police arrested Gurto near Pittsburgh, following a nationwide manhunt that lasted for several weeks after the child’s body was found.
Prosecutors say Blankenship has been a person of interest throughout the investigation, but has been cooperative with police.
“She’s been nothing but cooperative,” said Blankenship’s lawyer Marie Lane. “Despite the grief of the loss of her daughter, she has maintained her sobriety throughout that time.”
However, nearly one year after her child’s death, Blankenship is now facing charges as well.
Judge Thomas Harris set bond at $250,000.
As of right now, a trial date has not been set.
