Imagine walking into any place, pulling a gun out on the people in that place, and walking out of that place seconds later like nothing happened. Imagine doing this in house shoes. Imagine doing this while 6 months pregnant. Well, if you are a black woman in America today, it’s not too hard to imagine at all now is it?
Today, I was sent a movie by my girl Tip from New Orleans, and for as ratchet as she is, even she thought this was too much…(ha ha I kid because I care). Read the story below, and watch my report!
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — After a southeast Houston business was robbed at gunpoint last month, the Houston Police Department released surveillance video and is asking for the public’s help identifying the woman they suspect is responsible for the aggravated robbery.
On Oct. 29 at about 5 p.m., a woman entered a convenience store at the 7500 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard.
When she walked in, she pointed a gun at the customers and the clerk while walking up to the counter. Officials say the woman then focused her aim at the clerk and demanded a carton of cigarettes.
Once the woman received the cigarettes, surveillance footage shows that she walked out of the store and fled in a red Kia Soul.
HPD says the suspect is a Black woman, wearing a pink shirt, and black shorts.
Officials urge that anyone with information on this case calls Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS (8477) or submit a tip online.
In my opinion, Black women care nothing about their children for the most part. There is no way that a woman who loved herself or her children would have put both of their lives at risk over some damn cigarettes, but this woman did. And how many other black women have decided that some material thing is worth the lives of the people around them?
If you ask me, they just get pregnant to put some man’s life in peril and to be lord over another human being while getting called queen by her peers. This is why we have so much violence in the black community—because the people who raise us are typically violent!
