Chicago MAGA Activist Promoted by Trump Thinks Trump’s Dad Was a Racist
P Rae Easley thinks Charlie Kirk is racist and Trump should apologize to the “Central Park 5”
On Truth Social this weekend, Trump praised Chicago MAGA activist and radio personality P Rae Easley who went viral for comments at a city council meeting criticizing spending on migrants. Trump said, “We will put Chicago into the winning mix,” and indicated he would be calling Easley, implying she would be part of that plan.
Trump later posted Easley’s viral video comments. However, Trump’s newest viral sensation doesn’t see eye to eye with Trump on everything.
Trump should apologize to the “Central Park 5”
In social media posts uncovered by MeidasTouch, Easley said Trump should apologize to the now exonerated “Central Park 5.” You’ll get no argument here! Although Easley implied Trump was wrong, she said it has nothing to do with her efforts to turn Chicago Republican.
Trump’s dad “was racist”
In a reply to a discussion about Trump’s racism from February, Easley admitted that Trump’s dad, Fred Trump, was racist. No argument here! Easley was reacting to a story about how Fred and his son Donald were sued for refusing to rent to Black tenants.
Charlie Kirk “is racist”
In several posts, Easley takes issue with Trump-ally Charlie Kirk. Easley said Kirk is “a racist,” but gives him credit for granting her access to a Blexit event at the White House with Trump.
In another post, Easley agreed with Roland Martin’s post quoting Trump advisor Pastor Darrell Scott accusing “Charlie Kirk of inspiring ‘Hitler youth.’” Easley still credited Kirk for the creation of “Black Chicago 4 Trump” due granting access to that Blexit event at the White House.
P Rae mocked Charlie Kirk over Black pilots fear
Easley also mocked Kirk for his comments fearing that Black pilots may not be qualified. Easley said Kirk is “scared out of his mind” when he sees a Black pilot.
Charlie Kirk is sabotaging Trump
In another February post, Easley reacted to a video of Kirk complaining about the number of Black people in television commercials and how white people face consequences for being racist toward them. Easley warned Trump that Kirk “is purposely trying to throw the race against you” and to “please get somebody to shut him up.”
Other Black conservatives have made similar comments hoping Trump would intervene after Kirk attacked MLK, Black pilots, and made other racist comments.
Charlie Kirk: “If I see a Black pilot, I’m going to be like, ‘Boy, I hope he’s qualified.’”
Charlie Kirk is destroying grassroots outreach
Easley herself hoped, due to a news story expressing Republican concerns about Kirk hurting their chances electorally, that Trump was about to intervene. Easley said Kirk was “going to destroy” everything her group has built over the last 5 years.
As it turned out, Kirk did meet with Trump in Palm Beach after outrage ensued over his comments, but Kirk reported that he continued to have Trump’s support. Trump never said anything publicly and will be speaking at Kirk’s Detroit event in June.
P Rae Easley defended a racist troll’s n-word shirt
Easley has defended Trump and Kirk, somewhat, of racism accusations. That’s not the only person Easley has defended.
MeidasTouch uncovered that Easley also defended a racist troll account displaying a white Trump supporter wearing a “n***as for Trump” shirt. The account has received a community note on Twitter for being a known racist troll account with a sexually suggestive screen name.
Easley, defended the racist troll’s n-word shirt:
“I ain’t mad at him. They have Crackas 4 Trump too. Both words speaks to the foundational American class, N***as and Crackas both surviving the underclass of America since it’s inception. They got along fine b4 the turned them against each other and #Trump reunited them again”
P Rae Easley met Trump in 2018
Easley, who appears to have a knack for defending racists, did meet Trump in 2018 and has posted a picture of the encounter to Twitter.
Trump’s attempts to demonstrate popular support among Black voters
Trump’s campaign has been desperately trying to portray itself as wildly popular with Black voters, often using staged events with existing fans of Trump in inner city areas to push that narrative.
In Atlanta, the Trump campaign used a viral bug moment for what appeared to be a regular Chick-fil-A customer, but it turned out to be a MAGA Republican operative.
Trump’s Harlem bodega trip was organized by the New York Young Republicans Club who had members embedded in the crowd, leading chants and cheers. Trump is attempting to win Black voters like all politicians should do.
However, Trump hasn’t cleaned house and is leaving his supporters in a position where they have to answer for those he associates with. Trump appears unwilling to listen to his advisors and clean house. If you are expecting him to, I wouldn’t hold your breath.
