On June 13, 2014, I was invited to be a speaker at the rallly for the Rights Of Fathers In American at the Capitol Building in Washington DC.   The experience that I had with the people was one of the best I have ever had.  I loved speaking to a crowd of people who were just as passionate if not more about getting the US Courts to recognize the importance of fathers in the lives of their children.  Please watch my speech below and I will be putting together a summary of the event as well but check out all of the photos from the event as well.

I would like to thank everyone that came out to this event and showed love to fathers around the country.  I will be back next year and I will continue to go every year to every city across the united states until this movement is larger than life!  Lets work at getting fathers back into the lives of children.

SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

Amazing speech Tommy. Glad you’re out making a difference and trying to spread awareness about this cause. Like you said, men are being railroaded in the courts and portrayed as criminals just because most of them are struggling to make ends meet, while financially supporting his family. More people need to pay attention and try to find a equal solution to this problem. Much respect to you and your movement. Happy Father’s Day.

Brilliant speech I am a single parent who has residential custody of my son. The mistake men make is that when they go to court they just settle for joint custody with primary residential custody with the mother but do not ask for joint residential custody that is the biggest mistake. This is why they get hit with these big child support payments. If you ask for joint residential custody you will not get hit with the child support at all.

GREAT POST!!! I agree. And the attorney’s they get are sorry as well for not helping them with this. It’s as if they assume they will not be good parents just like the system assumes.

Brilliant speech in Washington DC Tommy on the importance of fathers and how the court system is hurting fathers and their rights.
You are really doing good for America with your positive efforts.
I also saw your video and your city council speech in SC at Bike Week and it was very good. Everybody in the room was glued to what you were saying. I see great things coming to you in your future. If you ever run for office, and I can vote for you, I most certainly will.
