This great land of ours is being served and protected by a bunch of wonderful police officers but lately the news has been filled by the misdeeds of a few that seem to be growing in number.   I was passed a video that showed not only a police man seemingly brutalizing a woman but her husband and son as well in Ohio.  Now I dont know how to view this but I want you to look at it and tell me if you think this was police brutality or justified force?

Now this man was pointing a Taser as well as talking cash sh*t to the man and his wife before forcefully grabbing them both.  He even directed some of his anger toward the boy who seemed no older than 12.

It must be pointed out that we dont really know what led up to this but we do know that what transpired seemed to be excessive from my vantage point!.

The family in question seemed like they may have gotten smart with the cop and today just wasnt his day but you cant have bad days like this when you are dealing with peoples lives.  These cops seem like they are not equipted to handle the stress of the job at times especially when they just want to show force over another person.

I am sorry but to me most cops are punks and if you ever got a chance for a 1 on 1 they would run away with the quickness but because they have a badge and a gun they seem to be ready for conflict!

I cant believe how he through the witnesses phone away and telling him that he doesnt need any help what should have happened is that all if the citizens should have kicked the cops a$$.  This will not change until we start treating them like they are treating the citizens that they are beating down on a daily basis

The Washington Township police officer whose actions raised questions of police brutality during a traffic stop has returned to work following an investigation.

Washington Police Officer Eric Hart remained on a paid leave in September after video of an incident went viral.

The video captures Hart pointing a taser at a man and woman and throwing the man’s cell phone.

WATCH:  The woman in the video claims she was harassed when the officer smashed her cell phone. (Video credit: Christine Lipper) WARNING: Video below contains strong language

The police report indicates the man in the video, Aaron Tatkowski, pulled up and starting shouting at the officer while Hart explained to the driver that the woman would be cited.

Tatkowski said the officer could have handled the situation differently.

“People learn from their mistakes and I’m hoping this officer learns from his because he could have easily pulled the trigger on somebody, with the rage that he had,” said Tatkowski.

However, WNWO spoke to people in the neighborhood who defended Hart’s actions, saying the incident was an exaggeration. Tom and Tamara Winkelman said Hart is a good guy who is keeping the neighborhood safe.

According to Washington Police Chief Christopher Kaiser said no criminal charges have been filed. Hart went back to work Oct. 10 after receiving additional training and a reprimand.

Kaiser called his actions, “not professional.”

The problem with low income White folk is they all too often agree with their oppressors or join other groups to suppress others. First it was Indians, then it was Chinese, later Italians, Irish, Russians escaping war and famine. However it’s always been Indians and Blacks on the top of their list of people to pinch down. Rich Whites don’t like to get their hands dirty, so who they employ??? You guessed it; like they do now, people that look like them.

Cop was in the right doing his job but damn Tommy, when black people
talk back to the cops like this white man did, you are the first one
saying the black man or woman deserved what they got. Now white people
are just being handcuffed and your calling for action? All I see is a
cop successfully controlling the situation with no brutality. He just
detained white people. I mean, am I wrong? Did I miss something?

America has become the land of the lawsuits. It’s pitiful! And, obviously, the guy was having a bad day, and the neighbor had to flip his lips… No respect for the law, anyway, black, white, red, or blue… poor poeple tend to think, that being poor, means lack of respect for the law.

Seems like it escalated due to the fact they saw it was being recorded. Seems like the officer over-reacted for the reason they were pulled over also, but we don’t know all the facts. Did he find out they had warrants or something? I was once married to a law enforcement officer and in my opinion they are mostly assholes with visions of grandeur. I never met one that didn’t immediately start treating you like you’re some kind of criminal even when you’re the one who called for their assistance. But then again, they have jobs where things can go extremely wrong in an instant. Maybe the officer was fearful because he was out numbered. Again, I think he over-reacted. I’m a law abiding citizen and I don’t trust them. They forget they’re supposed to “Protect and Serve” not terrorize and bully.

Most cops are puffed-up bags of hot queef gas. I live in a pretty quiet town, and most cops still won’t go onto the “bad” side of town unless they have to. The fact is that they are just as afraid of us as we are of them. I guarantee that if you start shooting back or even start kicking in the doors of some of these “swat team faux badasses” they would be soiling their pants, just like when that Chris Dorner fellow was going after LA cops. They didn’t have the balls to go in after him when he was cornered. They just set the house on fire and let him burn. Imaging what ten like-minded men could do to the LAPD. They wouldn’t even leave their homes to go to work.

I can not put this one under the header of police brutality. I get the impression that the man on the ground, in trying to get out of his driveway, was not peaceful or civil at all with the officer. More likely he demanded to get out of the driveway and was obnoxious. I also doubt that the wife was quiet and respectful, more likely she acted like a howling banshee from the beginning. The people in the news cast mentioned that the officer “could have” shot them with a taser, but the officer did not. He COULD HAVE pointed a gun at them or he COULD HAVE placed a knee on the back of the man’s neck, but, once again, he did not. My point there is he showed restraint and he DID have the situation under control despite the banshee and the handcuffed loud mouth fool. The man calling the police was just as idiotic in telling the officer he was not doing his job,

Exactly. Even if the cop was out of line, it never reached the point of brutality at all. The point is Tommy was defending white people over this mild case of a cop’s abuse of power. Telling the man he can’t record and tossing his phone is abuse of power, not brutality. There are videos were cops are brutalizing whites, but this ain’t it. If a black woman was on the ground, would Tommy defend her the same way? What if she was unattractive and dark skinned?

I think people are missing Tommy’s point, which is, wake up people. We are losing our freedom. Have you seen how much military and battle equipment has been given to our Police? Why do they need tanks? (Hypothetical question.)

He did what he needed to do to secure the scene. Those people were unruly and out of control. They were resisting and not cooperating. This could have had a totally different out come if they would have just STF and listen and acted with respect like most people!! That goes for anyone who chooses to act like this, white, black, red or fuchsia…….and yes, even pregnant women!! I’ve seen it all and I don’t feel sorry for anyone who chooses to act that way!! Btw, he didn’t throw that phone, he tossed it into the grass!! He certainly didn’t need gawkers sticking their dumbasses in it either!!

He went way over the line. What threat did they pose to him? I don’t get the defenses for this cop.
