DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A jury found three convicted gang members guilty, Thursday, for a deadly online dating scheme that left a man dead and his brother injured, the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office said.
Jurors found Demarco “Blazalino” Butler, 28, Antonio “Killa” Avery, 26, and Nashea Poole, 22, guilty of Murder, Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Violation of the Georgia Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act and other weapons offenses.
It comes after the D.A. said the three set up Jordan Collins, 23, and his brother Chad Collins, 26, using the “Plenty of Fish” online dating app.

Back in 2016, officials said Naesha Poole met Jordan Collins on the site. On Sept. 1, officials said Jordan and his brother were at their sister’s Lithonia home when Poole and her accomplice, Clarissa McGhee, 22, went to the home under the pretense of a “date” with the men.
However, the D.A. said Butler and Avery were waiting outside with guns. Officials said the young women then lured Jordan outside and the two armed men shot him in the back as he struggled to defend himself.
Jordan’s brother, Chad, was shot multiple times in the leg and arm after twice trying to help him. Jordan died at the scene.
Brothers Chad and Jordan Collins were shot after police say two women they met on a dating website set them up. Jordan (left) died from his injuries while Chad survived.
Poole and McGhee and the two gunmen ran off after the shooting, but cell phone records eventually led to police identifying the women the arrests of the four suspects.
Testimony from the trial revealed that all Poole, Butler and Avery were members of the 9 Trey Bloods gang, and that Butler and Avery held high-ranking leadership positions.

Evidence showed that, with Poole’s help, the two men orchestrated a plan to rob the victims via the dating ruse.
All three were found guilty. Prior to trial, the D.A. said McGhee entered a guilty plea to a charge of Aggravated Assault for her role in the crime.
