Here Is What I think!

By: Tommy “Tj” Sotomayor

Before the 4th of July fireworks even took place, there were explosions going off all around New York City.  Now I have been up here for the last 2 weeks and I have recorded people everywhere that I went but a SirrusXM radio show host by the name of Anthony Cumia was not as lucky as I was.

The man known as a shock jock found himself not only in the midst of a racial firestorm but on the 3rd of July, he found himself fired because of a twitter rant.   People were asking me for the past few days, what my opinion was of this situation, so here you go!

Now after hearing what I had to say about it, I want you to read what happened below and I want you to give your honest assesment of how you feel.  I think that we as black people claim racism entirely too easily which has watered down its meaning.

I call violent black women Beasties but I also call violent white women Snow Beast, hell I even call violent white female teens frosted mini beast so I would be the last person to have a problem with how he described this woman.  As a matter of fact, because she assaulted him, I think everything he said about her was justified.  I also think that he was right about how we solve small things with violence.  We have never went to war against another country but we love going against each other or when there is one old white guy alone in the city streets.

I actually am shocked that a black woman hit her white daddy so in a way I am happy because hey, white man you created this woman that we have to deal with everyday so for you to have to deal with her for a few minutes is just the chickens coming home to roost!  Maybe the next time you try to program the black woman with your white supremacy, you will smile when it slaps you back in the face.

There are some fools on line claiming that Anthony is a racist and that people who think like him are racist but its typically those fake problack idiots who go from being pimps to historians and right back to being pimps of the same black women they claim to be protecting.  Screw that, stand up and be for real, no one has the right to hit anyone but since these pimps of racism want to keep getting you idiots dollar, they will claim racism of any white person and coon of any black person who disagrees.  Oh well, such is life!

The woman was a beast, the woman was a c*nt and any other name you can call her because she like anyone else had no right to assault you just because she was upset!  Period!

He claims that the woman called him a white MF which I believe and then 5 other people helped her which I dont believe because I have been to Times Square and the one thing you see in there more than anything else, are cops!  So with that being said, I am pretty sure that if he had been assaulted they would have stopped it!  Why are there no other people confirming his account?

Oh & P.S.  Its really difficult for me to call this man just racist when he was good friends with my dude Patrice Oneal!  Sorry

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) – Anthony Cumia, one half of the popular satellite radio show ‘Opie and Anthony,’ tweeted Friday morning he’d been fired by SiriusXM, likely for alleged racial tweets he’d made earlier in the week.

Cumia, 53, claimed on Twitter early Wednesday morning he’d been assaulted by a woman on the streets of New York City, the city in which he and co-host Greg ‘Opie’ Hughes have hosted their satellite show since 2004.

Cumia says he was in Times Square taking photos when the woman, “who was in the frame punched me in the face,” alleging her attacks to be over not wanting to be included in his photos, adding, “then she punched me 5 more times.”

“I hope she gets killed,” he went on to say.

He then launched into a political diatribe, which would span the course of the next several days, about societal double standards, seeming dead-set on proving the point there’s “a deep seeded problem with violence in the black community,” although, “try to address it and you’ll be exiled to racistville.”

It’s a jungle out in our cities after midnight. Violent savages own the streets. They all came 2 defend this pig. I had to yell like at dogs—

The automatic jump to violence in that community is astounding. No discussion. It’s start punching at the least little thing. Uncivilized!!—

The switch to violence is immediate. No discussion, just violence. When will THAT be addressed? Oh, right, never. Slavery did it? Oh, ok.—

There’s a deep seeded problem with violence in the black community. Try to address it and you’ll be exiled to racistville. But it’s real.—

I was using my arms to block her punches. As I did, she’d yell “DONT TOUCH ME!” As she punched more! I really hope she gets shot & killed—

It’s really open season on white people in this day and age. No recourse. Fight back and you’re a racist. The predators know this. Good luck—

With the satellite show running ‘Best Of’ segments Wednesday and Thursday, Cumia hadn’t yet had the opportunity to describe his account of the incident, in full, on the air.

Friday morning, he hinted in a series of tweets at SiriusXM possibly taking action against him for his remarks.

I wouldn’t apologize. I’m not sorry. Talk to you all after a great summer!

RT @jlsturge: @AnthonyCumia suspended? For being attacked? -Suspended? Haha, no, not quite.

Later, he’d go on to tweet “Sirius decided to cave and fire me.”

Sirius decided to cave and fire me. Welcome to bizarro world. Fired for shit that wasn’t even on the air & wasn’t illegal. So, who’s next?

SiriusXM has released a statement confirming Cumia’s termination.

“SiriusXM has terminated its relationship with Anthony Cumia of the Opie & Anthony channel.  The decision was made, and Cumia informed, late Thursday, July 3 after careful consideration of his racially-charged and hate-filled remarks on social media. Those remarks and postings are abhorrent to SiriusXM, and his behavior is wholly inconsistent with what SiriusXM represents. “

Cumia has indicated he’ll take the weekend to regroup, then “I’ll have a better idea of things,” at which point he’ll discuss the matter further on his podcast, ‘Live from the Compound,’ with “TOTAL FREEDOM.”

Cumia has long been a staunch supporter of free speech, an ideal which aligned in perfect harmony with his former employer, SiriusXM, which provided the platform for his uncensored satellite radio show.
