Is This Animal Cruelty!

By: Tommy “Tj” Sotomayor

cheerleader lion
Well, It is the 4th of July and her ancestors are know for being savages for fun on every land that they visit so why would this or she be any different?  A so called beautiful Texas Cheerleader in Africa that has turned big game hunter.  She loves to hunt not only animals but animals that are endangered but she thinks that killing them will actually help save them.  Watch the video below!

So, can someone explain to me why what she is doing is worthy of a talk show but what Micheal Vick was doing worthy of a jail cell?

I am not a fan of animal killing for sport, as a matter of fact I find this young teenaged girl disgusting as she goes on this weird quest to kill as many animals as she can to get a TV show.  Now dont get it twisted, its great marketing.  I mean you get a sexy white chick who is doing what is normally considered an unsexy thing and boom you got instant ratings right?  Well even if that is so the cruelty part of it to me is an instant turn off.

How exciting is it for you to have an ultimate advantage over you prey yet you still feel as though you accomplished something? As they say, Aint no fun when the rabbit got the gun but lets talk about the people who say that it is wrong.

Do you guys not have a problem with Mcdonalds touting that they have over 1 billion served of killing cows?  Do you not have a problem with Chick Fil A and their killing of chickens?  Do you not have a problem with fishing?  Can someone tell me how we make the distinction between what we are and are not outraged about that we kill?

This teen has caused a sir with her blatant displaying of dead animals all over facebook and not only did Mark Suckerburg not take down her fan page but he gives it a blue check.  So wait a minute Suckerburg, you allowed people to have my fan page deleted but you had no issue with this woman posting with dead animals?  Am I missing something?

Global animal lovers are up in arms over a teenage Texas girl’s love of killing big African game, so much so that they’re even demanding she be banned from posting pictures of herself smiling alongside her trophies online.Nineteen-year-old Kendall Jones claims photos of dead hippos, elephants, lions and other beasts on Facebook are a testament to her hunting skills and dedication to game preservation.

But critics are appalled by the teen’s beaming social media and are calling Kendall sick and depraved for killing the rare animals and boasting about it online.

An online petition to force Kendall to remove her page because it promotes animal cruelty had gained over 40,000 signatures in just a week.

‘For the sake of all animals,’ reads the petition as it implored animal lovers to sign, ‘especially the animals in the African region… where hunters are going for fun just to kill an animal!’

Jones, whose Facebook indicates she ‘is looking to host a TV show in January 2015,’ maintains she is doing what’s best for the preserves, where there isn’t always space for even threatened species like elephants or lions.

‘Controlling the male lion population is important within large fenced areas like these,’ Jones writes. ‘Funds from a hunt like this goes partially to the government for permits but also to the farm owner as an incentive to keep and raise lions on their property.’

Jones’s photos show her posing with bagged zebras, hugging a dead leopard, and smiling beside elephants she’s killed.

One particular photo, in which she’s posing alongside a an extremely endangered rhinoceros, has her critics especially steaming, but the Texas Tech cheerleader says it was alive and well.

‘The vet drew blood, took DNA samples, took body and head measurements, treated a leg injury and administered antibiotics. I felt very lucky to be part of such a great program and procedure that helps the White Rhino population through conservation,’ she wrote.
However, Jones has in her quest to bag the Big 5 African game animals (lion, elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, and White/Black rhinoceros) shot a white rhino, which number around 20,000.

‘The first animal I ever shot was a White Rhino with a .416 Remington!!’ the teen writes on her Facebook page.

Because of her enthusiasm for killing rare game and what they say is her dubious standing as a conservationist, some critics say Jones should be banned from hunting in Africa completely.

The reason she is able to do this is because she is hunting in areas where people are using the animals as food and certain parts of those animals are put on the market for money. I guarantee you she has monetary agreements with POACHERS who are allowing her to come into these communities and hunt. Hell over the centuries hunting in Africa has been no big deal! (including hunting humans for sport). If you have the money you can hunt whatever you like. All she wants to do is take a picture with her kill and the other parties she is associated with, will take the carcass. This is the way it is….

Yea this college student has agreements with poachers.
Where do people come up with this retarded nonsense.

White folks pay $10k-$25k a head to go to Africa and pop off a few rounds and kill animals that would have been killed anyway. I bet the Africans would kill us before white people had a chance to complain if we tried to stop them. The states are probably a bit more efficient at it, but much of the proceeds from hunting licensing goes to wildlife preservation. Or government could just tax us to control animal population…ijs

Hunting is a sport because it involves knowledge, training, preparation, tracking, tools, skill, etc. And most hunters goal is a humane kill; i.e. right weapon, proper projectile placement, minimal environmental impact. This can’t even remotely be compared to what Vick was doing.

In 2010 my white friends invited me on a wild boar hunting trip somewhere in North Alabama. I was excited because I had just bought a new rifle. So I packed up my rifle and sidearm, hopped on a plane, and flew to Bama.

When we got ready to go out to hunt I opened up my hard case to show off my weapons; a 5.56 AR and a 9mm Sig. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone laugh so hard. I didn’t bring much ammo, but they wanted to shoot my stuff so we did at some targets I had in my case. Soon I was out of ammo, and was a little embarrassed to say so. But when I did Johnny said it was cool and holstered me with a .45 colt revolver and a 10 in rambo knife…uhhhh

We got in his homemade Ford Bronco an drove about 5 miles into the wood, and met up with another guy that was out walking his 4 pit bulls…uhhhh. He mentioned that there was some hogs about 1/4 mile away, and that we would be on foot from here…uhhhh.

We walked about 100 yards an Buddy set 3 dogs a loose. They were gone, and we jogged after them, but soon they were out of sight. About 1 minute later I heard a bunch of howling, and I thought a dog had got hurt because we all started running faster. We followed the noise until we could see the other dogs; they had surrounded a hog. Once about 50ft away Buddy set the final dog a loose, and that bitch shot off like a rocket!

She ran in there and grabbed the hog by the face/ear. I seriously thought this was all going horribly wrong because Buddy was running into the fight after his striker bitch. But suddenly he upholstered his KNIFE, jumped in the fight, grabbed the hog by one leg, flipped him over, and stabbed him once in the chest. It was over…uhhhh, is that sport enough? We did not fire a single shot.

We did that 2 more times that day. I’ve never again inquired about a hunting trip. I love guns like I love my legs, but there is a level of game play that niggas are ignorant of.

wow you are a gr8 writer.,,, What did you think about the whole experience? My brother and father were hunters like that. and i like gun’s and all but i dont know if i could just sit up and watch that. it seems a little horrid to me.

Honestly Theresa, I loved it. When we were running with those animals it was unlike anything I had ever experienced. We killed 3 hogs that day. The third belonged to me.

The video used to be posted on youtube, but I think youtube took it down. Truth be known, I kept flagging it because I was way out of “character.” Now you can find all types of “hog hunt with dogs” videos on there.

Thank you for the compliment. I am a technical writer by trade. TJ gives me a workout routine and I run with it. It’s like ballet for football players…

Maybe it was just weird to ya cause it was You getting intouch with your natural MAN in you. Men since the beginning have be the hunters. Man was created like that, I think. …..And i could read your stuff all day…very talented and graphic (i can see what you are writing) i like writers like that and wish i had that talent.

Oy Vey Joel. I couldn’t agree with you more. All I meant about Texas was that they advertise their stupidity about gun ownership like one of the Bush boys was still in the White House. It’s an advertisement ploy you jackass. You photograph a cute white girl next to a big ass animal she shot and make impressionable people want to be like that.
And as far as her kill used to “feed starving people”….you need to get some sleep dude.

There is nothing humane about taking life, period. I can’t consider hunting a sport. When you think of a sport, they’re usually two opposing sides in which both get to be on the offensive or defensive. When are these animal ever on the defensive if you are sneaking up on them and they don’t know you are there? Are they willing participants? Do they get the chance to hunt you back in return? I’m just saying. I respect free will though and if hunting is your thing… have at it.

This outrage just proves that white Progressives are loons. The Progressives claim that big game hunting is an insignificant contribution to the GDPs of the African countries where it takes place. To which I say, “no shit Sherlock.” Economically, leaving large swaths of land undeveloped is the least productive use of AND land anywhere on Earth. The problem is, if the Africans were to start developing this land and increasing their own agricultural or industrial base, the same white Progressives will whine and complain about “destroying the environment, the poor beautiful animals, mother Gaia, Ozone holes, global cooling/global warming/climate change/climate chaos, and the wilds must be preserved for future generations.” Of course, they don’t mind that the people who live in this areas are relegated to a meager existence because they can’t actually improve the land, or even make money by leading other white people around to hunt animals.

So here’s the position of white Progressives: Africans, you are not allowed to develop your land because it is beautiful and must be preserved for future generations of our people to enjoy and feel good about. It doesn’t matter that your people are destitute, it doesn’t matter that your people could enjoy better lives if Africans were allowed to do what white Progressives routinely do. You just stay poor and living in the wilderness because it makes us feel better.

    • nostraquarius
      nostraquarius 4 July, 2014, 19:23

What major African land development effort was thrawted by white progressives? I happen to believe just the opposite. Africa has not been further developed because of corruption in African government. There is no infrastructure in Africa; most importantly water.

Look up the many proposed water pipeline projects to bring water throughout Africa. Mostly white people want to go in and develope the area, but they can’t get an approved deal through African government. Africans what you to come in and give them stuff, while “white progressives” are saying we will build it, but we have majority right to profits from it’s development for some specified time.

Plus with such restrictions on basic neccesities, it leaves their government in complete control. I consulted for a developer in Dallas that has been fighting to get in their for years…

      • Bahu-yuddha
        Bahu-yuddha 4 July, 2014, 21:53

“What major African land development effort was thrawted by white progressives?”

Environmentalist NGOs have long pressured banks in America and Europe to deny loans for building power plants in African nations (some, such as South Africa, have successfully acquired loans, but this is an exception).

Environmentalists from New York and London successfully lobbied Tanzania against building a 34-mile highway from Arusha to Musoma, on the grounds that it might “disturb” the migration of the wildebeests, zebras, and giraffes.

San Francisco-based environmentalist, Gar Smith, of the Earth Island Institute, gave an interview in 2002 in which he said that giving people in Africa electricity was a bad thing because “”There is a lot of quality to be had in poverty,”

The Samburu people of Kenya were forcibly removed from the land when it was purchased by the Nature Conservancy and the African Wildlife Foundation and given to the government of Kenya for a national wildlife park.

I can keep going, but you should get the idea by now.

” I happen to believe just the opposite.”

Well isn’t that just great for you. I, for one am glad the world runs on what you believe.

“Africa has not been further developed because of corruption in African government.”

Funny you should mention that because that corruption is financed, in part by, wait for it….THE UNITED NATIONS! The “Green Climate Fund” (or the Green Slush Fund, as it should more accurately be called) rewards those same African leaders for NOT developing their countries. While the people suffer and die, the dollar keep rolling in for African governments to not do anything.

“There is no infrastructure in Africa; most importantly water.”

        Citation?

“Look up the many proposed water pipeline projects to bring water throughout Africa.”

I don’t do other people’s homework for them. Prove your point with evidence or reason, or I just mark down as you talking out of the side of your neck.

” Africans what you to come in and give them stuff.”

If by “give them stuff” you mean “pay them bribes” then, yes, they often do. However, bribery in business is par for the course in Russia, China, and the Middle East. Greasing palms, gift-giving, and quid pro quo is how stuff gets done anywhere.

“”white progressives” are saying we will build it….”

        Such as….who?

” I consulted for a developer in Dallas that has been fighting to get in their for years…”
Good for you. And good for your anecdotes. They mean so much to me, who has no way to verify them, nor do I even really care about their veracity.

what a PROPAGANDA for years now the idea of endangered animals has been promoted with safe environments of caring so called people protecting them from acts like this organizations to monitor them by tracking devices all funded by supporting countries to see this shows you the lie and how the money is being cycled for poaching events

I don’t think that people who eat animals or wear/support products made from animals, really can’t say anything about the killings of animals for sport. In my eyes, same action, different reasoning. People might say, we need to eat. Well, there’s plenty of non-meat items people can eat to live healthy lives.

Humans are omnivores. A term which means they have the characteristics of herbivores and carnivores. It is the carnivorous side of us that feeds on domesticated animals for survival. OFC we have those who like to feed on other things.

          • bill
            bill 6 July, 2014, 10:44

Omnivore is a term meaning an animal that can derive its energy and nutrients from a diet consisting of a variety of food sources. Which means meat is not necessary if their are plenty of other options which there are. If food was scarce then a ok.

Tommy I disagree with yours or that girls logic. Because the reason why most of these animals are on the endangered Species list is because Hunters and poachers were killing them at an alarming rate, and nobody was farming them or raising new ones at the same rate they were being killed. Now what make you think they will change. History doesn’t show that people will raise or replace these animals
