So What Does Tommy Say

By:  Tommy “Tj” Sotomayor

After seeing the previous videos about Donald and what he said and how he said it.  I decided to weigh in on the whole thing.  Not only on what Donald said but what others said about the situation as well.  We are going to have a show airing tonight April 27th 2014 at 9:30pm est to talk about this.  Watch below and join tonight! PS click below for all of the previous audio from sterling and his jump off

Now lets get this perfectly clear, I in now way condone what this man said nor do I say that he is or is not a racist.  More than likely he is very much not a huge fan of blacks, but we shouldnt be so upset about this when there are actually things that affect blacks everyday that we are not touching!

Those players knew and they were fine with it as long as they got paid…now the woman putting his convo out forced their hands. You can tell by listening to their response on the news that they don’t want to do anything about it.

    Good video!

Can’t roll with you on this one man. I won’t side with the hoe but I can’t side with a captain trying to save them either, plus just like you said he said he that in private however, set up or not obviously it wasn’t their first conversation (he’s dumb for trusting the hoe regardless) but anywhodini, how many pro athletes have been reprimanded by their league comissioners over things they originally did in private (kobe)? So for that I still believe he should deal with some repercussions and I bet it’s gonna be like what happened to Marge Schott that used to own the Reds, remember how that went? If nothing happens then no employee of NBA in this case should ever be held accountable for any deed made out of uniform, because it is not related to the job as you put it.

You make a good point Mark. What Sterling did can be considered detrimental to the league (team already losing huge sponsorships) and they can punish him based on that.

“The commissioner is given broad powers to protect the best interests of the NBA, and those powers extend to both the players and the owners,” Tulane law professor and sports law expert Gabe Feldman said. “The devil is in the details, and the details are in the confidential NBA constitution and bylaws. My understanding is that the owners have given the commissioner power to discipline.”

Silver will probably use the ubiquitous “conduct detrimental the league” clause, and a suspension and fine is a potential, if not likely, outcome.

“Any more severe discipline, including a forced sale or termination of the franchise, is limited to more extreme circumstances that don’t apply here,” Feldman said.
