Charlamagne tha God is in some serious hot water from the transgender community after comedian Lil Duval recently appeared on his show and joked about killing transgender women. 

Charlamagne was speaking at the event on Sunday when advocates for transgender people began shouting at him.The backlash began online, of course, and then seeped into real life during the radio hosts appearance at Politicon after his comedian guest made the disturbing ‘joke’ on The Breakfast Club which airs on Power 105.1.

‘We are not a joke! Trans people are not a joke!’, they chanted, according to TMZ.

The outrage was sparked when DJ Envy asked Lil Duval what his reaction would be if he unknowingly slept with a woman who was transgender.

The 40-year-old responded response was that the woman would ‘be dying.’

Of course, nobody saw the funny side to his joke. Co-host Angela Yee was quick to shoot down his unfunny remark and call it a hate crime.

One user on Twitter pointed out the danger of such a comment.

‘Trans women are IN FACT being murdered for the very reasons lil Duval says he would kill her. His ‘jokes’ are a matter of life and death,’ they tweeted.

Although Charlemagne also condemned the comic’s comments, he was seen laughing at the same comments which may be why he is also in hot water.

There is a huge push for people to boycott The Breakfast Club even though Lil Duval was merely a guest on the show.
