So if a person is dumb enough to give a child a gun what should happen to that person when the child kills someone with said gun?  Well that is the current situation in South Carolina where an ed-209 gave his 3 year old child a gun to chase his 24 year old friend around the yard!

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — Aiken County deputies have arrested a 31-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting in Warrenville.

Investigators say after they were able to obtain and develop information in the case, they identified and arrested Albert Monted Davis of Graniteville.

Witnesses told investigators that Davis had given a 3-year-old child his handgun to chase the victim Timothy Raheem Johnson around the yard. They say the handgun was discharged striking Johnson in the chest and killing him.

Davis is facing charges of murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a stolen handgun, contributing the delinquency of a minor and unlawful conduct to a minor, according to law enforcement.

Autopsy findings show Johnson died from bleeding out due to a gunshot wound to his torso. Manner of death is being ruled as a homicide.

Deputies say ATF (RAGE Task Force), the Aiken County Solicitor’s Office, SC DSS and the Aiken County Coroner’s Office assisted with this investigation.

WARRENVILLE, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) — A man has been killed in a shooting at a mobile home on Beckham Road.

According to Aiken County Coroner Tim Carlton, Timothy R. Johnson, 23, was shot and killed around 3 p.m. An autopsy is scheduled in Newberry on Wednesday.

Investigators say when they arrived they found Johnson with an apparent gunshot to the chest outside of the home.
