A woman was beaten by two women with baseball bats in a South Florida parking lot on Thursday after she said she cut one of the attackers off while driving on US Route 441.
Mikaela Barboza, 26, took video of one woman approaching her with a baseball bat and yelling obscenities, which ended after showing a second woman approaching and swinging a bat in her direction before the clip cutout.
A second video taken by Barboza’s acquaintance, according to the Miami Herald, showed two of the women wrestling on the ground with the third appearing to hit one of the women with a bat, before bystanders eventually intervened.
‘This was because I cut them off,’ Barboza wrote with a post sharing the videos and graphic images of her injuries on Facebook. ‘Then they made it about race after they beat me with two bats.’
Barboza was left with a broken nose and seven staples and seven stitches in her head, following the incident.
‘My nose is the worst of it,’ she told the Herald on Sunday. ‘I can’t even breathe out of it.’
Barboza told the Herald she was driving on the federal highway on her way to a meeting when she cut off one of the women seen in the videos.
That woman started yelling at her, and she said another driver yelled, ‘You cut off my sister. That’s disrespectful.’
Barboza said that’s when she pulled over in a nearby parking lot, in fear for her safety.
She said the women followed her and blocked her car in as she called the police, and then got of her car.
Video shows one woman in a floral dress approaching Barboza with a baseball bat in her hand.
‘I don’t got time for this. I got a kid, bruh,’ Barboza said, as the women gets closer.
‘I got a kid too,’ the woman said, coming even closer.’I don’t give a f***.’
The woman in the dress yelled expletives at Barboza, as a small boy can be seen in the passenger side of her SUV, watching the events unfold.

‘I’m not scared,’ Barboza said, before her video ends with the camera flying from her hand just after it caught a glimpse of the second woman swinging the bat toward the lens. Barboza saud second woman, in a red sweatshirt, hit her in the head with a metal bat.
A second video then showed two women on the ground wrestling. The footage isn’t incredibly clear, Barboza said it was her and the first woman in the floral dress.
‘We were kind of wrestling and the other sister with the other bat came over and started beating me over the head,’ Barboza said.
In the second video, one of the women can be heard shouting, ‘Don’t talk about black people,’ but Barboza told the Herald she did not say anything racist to the women, on of whom can be heard calling her a ‘cracker a**’ in the first video.
‘Anybody who knows me KNOWS I don’t have a racist bone in my body,’ Barboza wrote on social media, in the post sharing the videos.
Bystanders eventually broke up the fight and the two women left before law enforcement showed up to the scene.
Barboza filed a police report and said she planned to press charges.
‘This was totally uncalled for and justice will be served,’ Barboza wrote on Facebook, adding, ‘Ps: My daughter was NOT in my car.’
The Broward County Sheriff’s Office told DailyMail.com the alleged incident is still under investigation.
No suspects have been named by the Sheriff’s office and no charges have been filed at this time.
